May 1 is the day of bloodshed for the realization of the rights of working people. Workers shed blood on this day in 1886 to get rid of long deprivation and exploitation. The day is an unforgettable day for the ultimate self-sacrifice of the working people.

Then, at the Second International Labor Conference in Paris in 1889, May 1 was recognized as May Day for the observance of workers' rights. Since then, World Day has been observed every year.

But the abundance and pomp of the owners is increasing. This inequality began to give rise to protests among them which resulted in incidents like factory breakdowns, manager killings. From experience, the working class understood that there would be no solution in this way, so they tried to form a state by establishing the Pari Commune in 1871.

On that day, the workers gave their lives in the movement demanding eight hours of work as opposed to 10/12 hours of work. Along the path of self-sacrifice, working people in countries around the world have long had to agitate for fair wages, vacations, humane treatment, and a healthy and safe working environment. The demand for an eight hour workday has been achieved, the working environment has also improved somewhat, But security and human rights have not been achieved in the professional life of the workers.
