The most powerful weapon of knowledge is the pen. This necessary pen was not invented in one day. It has a long history behind it. Pen means author.

It is claimed that England invented the first modern pen in 1780. In 1884 LE Waterman invented the fountain pen.  After that, however, many countries besides England started making fountain pens. Ball point pens or ball pens were made in the twentieth century.

At one time bird feathers were used for writing. In India also horn pens, bird feathers etc. were used as pens at one time. The Egyptians probably started writing by sticking something like a copper nib on the tip of a stick. Greek pens were made of ivory or something like that. It was called 'Stylus'. That is why the style of writing is now called style. Feather pens were introduced in the Middle Ages after the invention of paper.

At the beginning of the history of the pen, in our civilization the pen was made by cutting a pipe or straw tree diagonally and sharpening the tip. And had to write with it dipped in liquid ink. However, the concept of drawing with a stick was probably not invented very early on as a method of writing letters. It is known that hunters draw pictures of animals in caves with thorny leaves and wing stalks or soil lumps on them.
